Operating Awards
There are three awards associated with the GB200T special event station.
They are the GB200T Award, the GB200T Points Award and the Trafalgar Award. Click on a certificate thumbnail to see a larger version.
The GB200T Award
- This award is available to any licensed amateur who contacts GB200T during the Trafalgar Weekend (00.00z 21 October – 23.59z 23 October 2005)
- Only one QSO with GB200T on any band/mode is needed.
- This award costs £4, $8, 8 new IRC or €6.
The GB200T Points Award
- This award is available to any licensed amateur who works GB200T between 17 – 24 October 2005.
- A total of 200 points are required to claim this award:
- Each QSO with GB200T before and after the Trafalgar weekend will be worth 10 points on the HF bands and 25 points on the VHF bands (50, 144 and 432 MHz).
- Each QSO with GB200T over the Trafalgar Weekend (00.00z 21 October – 23.59z 23 October) will be worth 50 points.
- Only one QSO per band/mode will count for points. NO cross band or cross mode contacts will count.
- This award costs £4, $8, 8 new IRC or €6.
The Trafalgar Award
- This Award is available for making one QSO with GB200T and one QSO with one other of the following special event stations - GB200RN, GB200HNT, GB4BOT , GB2OOV or ZB2TRA between 21 and 23 October 2005.
- Contacts may be on any band/any mode. NO cross band or cross mode contacts will count.
- This Award costs £4, $8, 8 new IRC or €6.
Each Award is available to Short Wave Listeners.
Special deal: Any amateur or SWL who claims all three awards can do so for the special price of £10, $20, 20 new IRC or €15.
